Humanity In Deep Space has appointed Christopher Phillips, PhD as its Philosopher In Residence. Chris is an internationally recognized philosopher, author of several books, including his most recent publication Soul Of Goodness and the international bestseller, Socrates Cafe: A Fresh Taste of Philosophy, and thought contributor on a variety of important related issues, including appointments as Network Ethics Fellow at Harvard and as the first ever Senior Education Fellow at the National Constitution Center.

The big philosophical questions, from the ethical to the existential, touch upon and thread their way through Chris's works and through most of the hard challenges confronting humans and our planet as we continue our transition to a spacefaring species.

Among upcoming projects, Chris will be part of the May 23, 2024 Webcast, joining astrophysicist and space ethics thinker Erika Nesvold, who devotes an entire book Off-Planet to the centrality and urgency of addressing these issues.

More information about Chris can be had at ChristopherPhillips.com.
