GREG SCHMIDT
Greg Schmidt is the Executive Director of Space For Good, a nonprofit dedicated to harnessing space science, technology, and storytelling to benefit humanity and inspire a deeper connection to space. He brings more than 40 years of leadership experience at NASA, where he co-founded and directed the NASA Lunar Science Institute, later the Solar System Exploration Research Virtual Institute (SSERVI), and held senior roles at NASA Headquarters and Ames Research Center. Greg has led major scientific and interdisciplinary initiatives supporting human and robotic exploration, and his contributions have been recognized with two NASA Medals, numerous NASA Group Achievement Awards, the Lunar Exploration Analysis Group (LEAG) Service Award, and honors for science communication including two Emmy Awards and two Webby Awards.
